Brief description

This will explain the proceadures to replacement fo the potentiometer of the steering wheel.

System operation

[Long description]
The system running in Atlascar PC needs to know the position of the steering wheel. That value is acquired using a multi-turn potentiometer, which were alocated in a bab place. This document will explain the procedures o put the potentiometer in the new position.

Mechanical components

[conceptual mechanism, Drawings of fixing and supporting systems...]
To do this job we used this material:
 - 60 teeth poley with a pitch of 2.5 mm
 - 20 teeth poley with a pitch of 2.5 mm
 - 240mm belt
 - 10 turn potentiometer, with the value of 10kOhm

The boxes have internal microcontrollers to operate the system

Maintenance

In need of mooving the steering wheel the system must be callibrated.
For that you'll need to be carefull with the potenciometer limiter, and then move the steering to the extreme left posistion.
Then measure the tension of the pot. write it down, make the same procedure to the right extreme.
With this values go to the atlascar_base.cpp and change the values of steering_wheel_min= "the value of the left position"
and in the steering_wheel_max= "the value of the right position"
