Please execute the SETUP program.
Specify the name of the source path
and the directory you want to copy the files (destination).
The installation program automatically creates a new group "HEXAGON"
in the Windows Program Manager (if not already exists).
You can then start the Demo Version by double-clicking the icon.
The default properties are:
Program group: HEXAGON
Description: ZAR1
Command line: C:\ZAR1\WZAR1.EXE
Working directory: C:\ZAR1
The password for the Demo Version is TRAIN. You can start the demo mode
by selecting "Help->Demo" in the menu. To perform the test calculation,
simply confirm all the default values by clicking "OK".
Once the demo mode has finished, you can try out your own
calculations. Some values cannot be altered in the Demo
Version, and you are not allowed to load any files.
You can print out drawings and graphs directly from the screen with
"File->Print". Select the desired output device at "Options".
If you want to display or print out part of the drawing, you can
define a zoom window with the left-hand mouse button or use the cursor keys
and +/- (NumLock on). At "File->Config->Printer" you can configure
size and origin of the graphic printout.
For text printout, please select "Windows printer".
Alternatively, you may generate a HTML document.
Under menu option "CAD" you may either create DXF or IGES files
for drawings and diagrams. You may configure layer assignment
and text width under menu option "File->Config->CAD".
The generated files can be read into any CAD system that provides
an appropriate interface.
By means of the Clipboard or DXF file you can transfer data, diagrams
and drawings to any Windows word processor for documentation.
