Brendon's notes:

I have got one of the guys to take a few photos of the robot. Heres a few notes that roughly describe what Iv'e been upto. I have made a plate to mount the battery isolating switchs on and as an after thought I also mounted a socket for connecting to the SSC's to enable quick changing from PC to Handyboard operation (This can be seen in the photo's). I use a velcro strap to hold in the battery pack this makes them easy to remove and changeover, I have also used a push fit termination for the batteries and chargers also for simplicity. I have made a plate out of scrap material to mount the Big Grip to the Hexapods front which gives it a larger more formidable look. The Ir detector is mounted on a plastic plate above the gears for the grip. This appears to work ok with the grip parked open. With the programming I have mainly concentrated on Visual Basic through a PC connection and have written a servo calibrating program and a couple of variations on a simple 2 x three leg step. I havn't dedicated a great deal of time to programming as there is so much to do and see down here that I would otherwise miss out on.

Cheers
Brendon
